There was a lot of interest in "First Life" Scots have passed their history "Family Stories, Battles, Defeats and Victory from generation to generation at first by stories told around the fire. Then by the written word and songs. That's what my book is about and in a way that's what the Highland Games are about, passing tradition and customs on to the next generation.
